Valentine’s Day Greek Yogurt Bark Done 3 Ways!

Jump to Recipe - Print Recipe

Greek yogurt bark is hands down the EASIEST treat you could ask for, and this Valentine’s Day Greek yogurt bark is no exception!

Each of these recipes has only 3-4 ingredients and only requires five minutes of hands-on time. Plus, Greek yogurt bark is a great source of protein, calcium, and other essential nutrients.

Valentine's Day Greek Yogurt Bark

Greek yogurt is a form of strained yogurt that has been processed to remove most of the whey protein, resulting in a thicker and more creamy consistency than regular yogurt.

For the Greek yogurt bark, I recommend using a Greek yogurt with a higher fat percentage. While making these barks, I made two of them with 2% MF and one (the cinnamon heart bark) with 11% MF and the higher fat bark was undeniably more decadent and dessert-like. Plus the texture was much better and the bark didn’t crystallize as much, making it melt in your mouth. I am in favour of making a dessert more energy-dense if it also makes it 10x more delicious, and in this case, it certainly does!

For a fun Valentine’s day treat, I’ve created three different flavours of Valentine’s day Greek yogurt bark for you to try: raspberry white chocolate, strawberry smarties, and vanilla cinnamon hearts!

This is the blender that I use.

Raspberry White Chocolate Bark

  • Combine Greek yogurt and raspberries in a blender and blend until smooth. While you wait, cover a baking sheet in parchment paper.
  • Using a spatula, transfer the yogurt-berry blend to the parchment paper and smooth out in a thin, even layer.

  • Crush Smarties and sprinkle over the yogurt mixture.

Vanilla Cinnamon Heart Bark

  • Add Greek yogurt, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup to a bowl and mix until combined.
  • Cover a baking sheet in parchment paper. Using a spatula, transfer the yogurt-berry blend to the parchment paper and smooth out in a thin, even layer.
  • Top with cinnamon hearts.
  • Freeze for 3 hours. Remove from fridge, break or slice into chunks, and enjoy!

Notes

I highly recommend using a higher fat Greek yogurt for this recipe. It will maintain its creamy texture and will not crystallize as much. I used 11% M.F for the cinnamon heart bark and it was by far the tastiest of the three!

Are you looking for more blender treats? Try this salted caramel smoothie. It’s sweet, salty, nutritious and 100% satisfying!
